Registration Fee Information

WSD 2022 registration and tickets are required to attend events unless stated otherwise.

WSD Registration Fee – Hybrid (in-person and digital)

  • Professional: $120.00 CAD + GST 
  • Emerging Artists (Student between Sept 2016 – December 2021): $100.00 CAD + GST
  • Students (Currently enrolled in School): $80.00 CAD + GST

Single Day Pass Registration

  • Come and join us for a day of in person activities at World Stage Design 2022!
  • Purchase a single day pass for access to the WSD, TIP and TAC Exhibitions. The day pass will also allow you to reserve tickets for free events or purchase tickets for performances if tickets are available. Tickets to panels, talks, and performances are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • Reserved and purchased tickets must correspond to the date on your day pass.
  • The single day pass is $20 for one person.

Family Day Pass Registration

  • Come and join us for a day of in person activities at World Stage Design 2022!
  • Purchase a family day pass for access to the WSD, TIP and TAC Exhibitions. The day pass will also allow you to reserve tickets for free events or purchase tickets for performances if tickets are available. Tickets to panels, talks, and performances are on a first-come-first-serve basis.
  • Reserved and purchased tickets must correspond to the date on your day pass.
  • The family day pass is $40 for two adults + three children aged 17 and under.

Ticketed Events

  • Onsite Workshops: $25.00 – $65.00 CAD + GST 
  • Performances:
    • Delegates with Full WSD 2022 Registration – $15.00 CAD
    • Adults with Single Day Pass Registration – $15.00 CAD
    • Children with Single Day Pass Registration – $10.00 CAD

University Theatre Services requires that all patrons, regardless of age, who access a performance must hold a ticket to do so. The University of Calgary has strict occupancy rules which University Theatre Services much abide to. If you have questions about this policy please contact tickets@theatreservices.ca

Excursions

Registration Type Definitions:

  • HYBRID registration – valid for all chosen virtual event(s) PLUS/OR in person World Stage Design 2022 in Calgary.
  • VIRTUAL ONLY registration – valid ONLY for virtual component of chosen event(s).
  • Emerging Artist registration – proof by a student card required. Emerging Artists will need to show proof of student status valid September 2016 or later.
  • Student registration –  proof by a student card required. Current registration as student in 2022 qualifies for student pricing.
  • Digital Sessions registration – allows you to select up to 4 virtual sessions only within virtual component of World Stage Design 2022. Not valid for in-person attendance.

PLEASE NOTE:

We are not able to provide refunds; if travel becomes impossible due to Covid-19 or other circumstances, registrants will be granted full access to online activities.

All registration fees are subject to 5% Goods and Services Tax.
