World Stage Design 2022 acknowledges that the performing arts community is a genuinely diverse community. We commit to increased visibility for equity-deserving communities and seek diversity and inclusion in all programming, exhibitions, attendance, juries, and awards. Diversity includes, but is not limited to: race, origins, ethnicities, religions, gender identities, sexual orientations, truths, abilities, and backgrounds.
Through Scenofest, we will create awareness and a shared sense of responsibility among attendees, planning committees, juries, guests, and the public to promote a culture that values equity, diversity, and inclusion. We are keen to embrace stories, voices, and perspectives that have been missing from our stages and classrooms. Our goal is to ensure a broad range of learning experiences and that all attendees see themselves represented in the performances and conference events we produce.
